Showcase Showdown team members will “Come on Down” from Chicago to Cincinnati dressed as:

• Celebrity guest contestant, Elvis Presley

Hmm … there’s something missing here. “We will also be accompanied by our very own Barker’s Beauties,” says captain Nolan Libunao. Ah, that’s better. No celebration of “The Price is Right” would be complete without leggy models, and any true fan of the show would say the same about the pricing game Plinko, which Nolan considers “just about the coolest game ever.” In order to capture the essence of Plinko, Nolan says he and his teammates “will construct a custom hand-fitted wood body on a tube-frame chassis that will ride on 20” speed discs.”

Saying that the team remains optimistic of their chances would be something of an understatement. Nolan proclaims that Showcase Showdown will “deliver a performance of such magnitude that it can only be rivaled by the indescribable collision that results when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object .” For those who still remain unimpressed, the five friends will recreate the set of “The Price is Right” in their pit stall. Nolan explains the set-up: “We will call spectators down to Contestant’s Row to pit their skills against special celebrity guests in real pricing games. The contestants that guess closest to the actual retail price will get the chance to play for fabulous prizes on the fully functional Plinko game board built into our craft.”
