Roll it like a Polaroid picture. At least that’s what this predominately female team plans to do with their Rollaroid 600 soapbox entry. “We chose a Polaroid camera because it is somewhat archaic, incredibly quirky and unique, beautifully designed, and an all-around perfect application for a car,” writes team captain Jessi Kemplin. “Our brains all work VERY differently – but this project is proving to be the glue that binds our minds.“

The mixed collection of brains agreed that they wanted to incorporate Seattle into their soapbox theme in a figurative sense only. So their craft will take mock pictures of teammates dressed as iconic Seattle destinations like the Space Needle and Mt. Rainier. “We call ourselves the little Rollaroid that could.”
